What is Botox®?

Botox® injections are the fastest-growing cosmetic procedure according to the ASAPS. Outline Toxin Type A (Botox® Cosmetic) is a protein complex produced by the bacterium Clostridium botulinum – not to be confused with filler material, it is a natural purified protein produced from bacteria. When used in a medical setting as an injectable form, injected in low doses, Botox® relaxes overactive musculature that causes lines to form.
